simply identifies our thoughts on the year 2006. We
are so very proud of the total GBT team. The
directors, officers and employees supported and
encouraged by you, our customers, have led to
another outstanding growth and profitable year.
Upon reflection of the year
2006, we are pleased to announce another record year
for both overall bank profitability, as well as
asset growth. We are most pleased that this success
was achieved by a total team effort which was led by
all six branch locations, our mortgage loan division
and our financial services subsidiary achieving
profitable results.
It has been an exciting year
in Bienville Parish. The Gibsland location, as well
as serving as the main operational center, continues
to be the leader in the GBT system for loans, as
well as the largest contributor to overall bank
profitability. Arcadia has improved to have the
largest deposit percentage while continuing to
handle the largest monthly volume of customer
transactions. In total, the two Bienville Parish
branches contribute 61% of the total assets, 57% of
total loans, 59% of total deposit, and 58% of total
bank profit.
Athens Branch continues to
contribute in an impressive manner in Claiborne
Parish to overall bank operations, and being our
only location in Claiborne Parish, has once again
been a leader in the GBT system for best return on
assets percentage.
Webster Parish branches
continue to be an impressive addition to the GBT
system. Our three locations in Webster now
contribute 31% of the total assets, 34% of the total
loans produced, 32% of deposits, and 30% of overall
bank profit. Our mortgage division, housed in
Webster Parish, generates mortgage loans through
referrals for the entire GBT system and provides a
much needed service to all the communities we serve.
GBT Financial Services, Inc.
continues to develop a strong customer base in the
communities in which we operate. GBT Financial
continues to excel in the delivery of viable,
quality non-deposit investment opportunities. In
addition, our new property and casualty insurance
platform is offering additional product
opportunities for our customer base. You will find

We are so happy to be able to
share with you all the positive results of 2006, for
there are many. Even more are planned for 2007.
