Business Development Officer

Webster/Bossier Parishes

  • The person in this position will develop relationships with new and existing customers primarily in Webster & Bossier Parishes Other Parishes in our trade area include Bienville, Claiborne &, Caddo.
  • Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interview commercial and consumer loan customers; calculation of various financial ratios such as debt to income; make credit decisions within approved lending limits and bank policy; develop loan presentations for Senior Management approval; ensure loan documentation is complete, accurate, and follows all regulatory and bank regulations & policies; collection of past due accounts; preparation of required monthly reports.
  • Represent GBT in the local community
  • Prior lending experience is required.
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field is required
  • Consistent and reliable presence at work is required. Schedule will vary and may include early mornings, late afternoons and Saturdays.

Branch Manager/Loan Officer

Arcadia Branch

  • The person in this position will be responsible for the efficient and effective branch operations. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervision, scheduling and coaching of branch staff; Managing a consumer loan portfolio. This will consist of interviewing customer, calculating various financial ratios, making credit decisions within approved lending limits and bank policy, ensuring loan documentation is complete, accurate and follows all regulatory and bank regulations & policies, collection of past due accounts, preparation of required monthly reports.
  • Represent GBT in the local community
  • Prior managerial experience and banking experience required
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field is preferred
  • Consistent and reliable presence at work is required. Schedule will vary and may include early mornings, late afternoons and Saturdays.

Mortgage Loan Office Manager/Lender

GBT Mortgage Office, Bossier City

Deadline to Apply: August 29, 2014

  • The person in this position will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the GBT Mortgage Office and for originating and underwriting mortgage loans. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Supervision, scheduling and coaching of branch staff; Meet with potential applicants to obtain information and answer questions about the loan process, analyze applicants' financial status, credit and property evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans, explain the different types of loans and credit options available, obtain and compile required financial information and update credit/loan files; Responsible for communication and administrative requirements with all correspondent investors; Maintain all activities related to Quality Control on shipped file.
  • Represent GBT in the local community
  • The person in this position should have the following qualifications and experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with FHA, VA, RD and conventional lending; In depth understanding of Mortgage Lending guideline and practices; Professional relationships with local realtors and builders; Prior managerial experience; Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or other related field is preferred
