Part Time Scanner Operator

Gibsland

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Scanning Loan Files into our digital document storage system and preparing loan files for permanent storage.
  • Consistent and reliable presence at work is required. Schedule will vary and may include early mornings, late afternoons and Saturdays.
  • This job is primarily computer/scanning work and does not have regular customer interaction.
  • Prior banking experience, including loan packaging, is preferred.

Account Manager (Employee Benefits Insurance)

GBT Insurance Agency, Bossier City

The person in this position will interact with customers in response to inquiries about products and services and resolve customer requests. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Clearly and precisely communicate with clients and producer, including due dates, timelines, possible issues, client expectations, etc.
  • Install new group insurance contracts for existing clients or new clients.
  • Administer renewals including preparing appropriate contractual changes.
  • Conduct employee meetings
  • Develop and maintain excellent carrier relationships

Market President

Caddo/Bossier Market

The individual in this job will administer operation of a market area of branch offices of the bank as well as maintain an individual loan portfolio.


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the market area's branch offices operation and profitability
  • Represent the bank to the community
  • Help the market area's branch offices to attain internal performance objectives for business volume, deposits, loan portfolios, and audit reports
  • Participate in lending activities by maintaining individual loan portfolio and assisting branch loan staff. May approve loans for branch loan staff that are above their lending limits or that have certain types of policy exceptions
  • Direct branch personnel to ensure prompt, accurate and dependable customer service
  • Assist branch management staff and Human Resources staff with personnel issues such as: recognizing exceptional performance, disciplinary actions, interviewing, performance reviews, counseling, etc.
  • Contact with GBT Customers, Operations Staff, Loan Review Staff, Human Resources and IT
  • Supervise Branch Managers in the specific market area and administrative support staff

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting or other related field
  • Six to 8 years of related experience
  • Graduate School of Banking preferred
  • Excellent management, communication and human resources skills
  • Extensive background in branch operating policies and procedures, banking regulations (state and federal), employee development and public relations
  • Ties to the local market area such as involvement in civic groups, schools, churches, etc.

Shreveport Branch Manger /Loan Officer

The person in this position will be responsible for day to day operations of the branch. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Supervision of Teller/CSR employees, including scheduling employees, approving transactions, assisting with balancing cash drawers and vault and opening new deposit accounts.
  • Consumer Lending, including assisting customers with initial loan application, calculating financial ratios such as loan to value and debit to income, making lending decision within GBT policy and assigned lending limits, assisting customers with final loan documentation, booking loans, processing loan files/paperwork, etc. Attending loan officer meetings and compiling required reports. Overall responsibility of personal loan portfolio and loans for lenders no longer with GBT, including but not limited to ensuing loan file has proper documentation and assisting with collection of past due accounts.
  • Hands on day to day work in the Teller or Customer Service Representative area if needed. This will include running a teller window, vault teller, opening new deposit accounts for customers, etc.
  • Business Development – representing Gibsland Bank in surrounding area at community events and developing new or existing customer relationships.
  • Ensure that branch staff follows GBT policies and procedures.
  • Strong computer skills required, including all Microsoft Office products.
  • Consistent and reliable presence at work is required. Schedule will vary and may include early mornings, late afternoons and Saturdays.
  • Minimum of two years of prior banking or related experience in teller, customer service, lending and operations areas that demonstrates increased levels of responsibility and competency. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
